Meet the Pastor

Drew Whaley became pastor of North Salem Baptist Church in July of 2024. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served churches in Georgia, Mississippi, and Pennsylvania over the past decade. He served in youth ministry for 7 years prior to accepting the call to Pastor at North Salem.

Drew and his wife Olivia welcomed their son Kenny into the world in May of 2024. Together, they have a passion for seeing people of all ages grow in their faith and fall more in love with Jesus. In their free time, they love exploring the low country, cheering on their favorite sports teams (Georgia Southern, Penn State, Atlanta Braves), and spending time with their dog Bo.

Drew, Olivia and Kenny are excited to join what God is doing at North Salem and can’t wait to see what he has in store in the days ahead!
